Last month, I attended an incredibly moving night in supporting veterans with Canine Companions for Independence and Andrea McCarren at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. SIDE BY SIDE: AN EVENING WITH VETERANS and THEIR SERVICE DOGS was a special event to honor the dedication, sacrifice and the journey of our nation’s veterans.
