On average, it cost $5,000 for The Headstrong Project to treat one veteran. Your support goes a long way in helping them return home and finding renewed meaning and joy in their lives.

Coming home from war is not easy. Through a partnership with Weill Cornell Medical College, The Headstrong Project provides cost-free, bureaucracy-free, and confidential mental healthcare treatment to Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans.

Nearly 400,000 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans report symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder as of December 31, 2014. The VA estimates we lose 20 veterans a day to suicide with 41% higher risk of suicide for deployed veterans compared to the general U.S. population.
